Build & Connect supports innovation for manufacturers, project owners and companies in the building sector, helping them to move from a carbon-based model to a decarbonised model that is healthy and respectful of the environment, while working to adapt to climate change.

A cooperation network close to you. As part of a close-knit, cooperative network, innovative players think and act together to deploy high-performance solutions that will shape the buildings and regions of tomorrow.

Support for innovation. From idea to market, the Build&Connect cluster helps you to be more innovative and to bring your projects to fruition, so that you are ready for future markets, technologies and regulations.

Supporting industry transformation. Faced with the major changes in our industry, the Build&Connect cluster can help you build your skills and structure by carrying out your first pilot operations (Digital – Circular Economy – Energy).

The Build&Connect competitiveness Cluster was established in 2015 with the merger of the Alsace-Energivie and Fibres Clusters. It is the only competitiveness cluster dedicated to sustainable buildings and territories. Focusing on the construction sector, it brings together all of the players in the value chain (from materials suppliers to integrators): chemical industry, materials, building design, constructive systems industry, energy facilities, building trades, building maintenance and property development promotion.

Innovation is a competitiveness lever for industry. Therefore, the competitiveness cluster supports people who initiate innovation (companies, research centres…) in the emergence and setting up of R&D projects of a collaborative nature. By joining the Cluster, members enjoy resources to guarantee their projects the best chances of success and find funding.

The members network is also one of the foundations of the Cluster. Boasting 270 members, the Cluster provides various tools and actions to facilitate the sharing of experience, contact, the spotting of opportunities and the visibility of its members, whether in France or overseas

The Cluster has also developed a range of services specific to the construction industry market, such as project management support, technical evaluation support, a Demonstration Building label and a digital modelling hub (BIM).
